The E-TRIALS platform integrates ASSISTments, a free online K-12 math learning platform that assists students and provides assessment data to teachers. Studies are developed with the E-TRIALS platform and then delivered to students through ASSISTments. Studies can be assigned through Canvas, Google Classroom, or LTI integration of ASSISTments with Coursera and EdX. We invite you to conduct research studies using our E-TRIALS platform, which supports three types of study as shown below.
Types of Study We Support
Single condition study
Compares a set of hints or an explanation to our Best So Far supports at the problem level
Students are held in condition over a single problem set
Multi-condition study
Compares a set of hints or an explanation at the problem level
Students are held in condition over multiple problem sets
Use our student pool (no need to recruit participants)

Understand ASSISTments
Your study will run on ASSISTments. This video created for teachers will help you understand how ASSISTments is used. We recommend you play with ASSISTments. Since it works through an LMS, you and a colleague can be teacher and student using your @gmail.com accounts (both will be from the same domain, which is a necessary start). If you are at a university and have a Canvas account, you can use that, too. For help contact us at etrials@assistments.org
